For only one night, Spartanburg High School’s (SHS) auxiliary gym became La Ville Lumière or the City of Light. Homecoming 2025, “A Night in Paris,” invited students to step into a world of elegance and fun spirits.
The moment students walked through the doors they were greeted by glowing and twinkling lights perfectly that added to the ambiance of the night. At the center of it all stood a replica of the Eiffel Tower, built by volunteers and the SHS student council, shimmering under spotlights and becoming the main backdrop for photos. The decorations, including the café-inspired refreshment tables, captured the Parisian charm.
The dance floor was filled with energy as students, dressed in their nicest dresses and most formal suits, danced and sang along together. Music filled the room, laughter echoed and friends gathered to eat sweet treats and drinks.
The dance was more than just a fun event to dress up for. It was a chance for students to connect, celebrate long lasting traditions, kick off a week of school spirit and create memories. By the end of the night, Spartanburg High’s “A Night in Paris” proved to be a homecoming experience as timeless as the city it honored.
