On Oct. 31, 2025, the Viking football team hosted the Riverside Warriors at home for a thrilling homecoming matchup. The annual homecoming queen’s court and nomination ceremony was a success. The Vikings managed to pull off a nail-biter win on homecoming night, defeating the Warriors with a final score of 20–19.
At halftime, the spotlight shifted to midfield. Fans turned their attention to the homecoming queen nominees, each walking proudly with their escorts. The 2025 homecoming queen, Khamari Colbert-Lugo (12), was crowned in front of the crowd, marking a highlight of the homecoming week festivities.
The celebration did not stop there. Immediately following the crowning, the 2025 Viking track and field team’s individual state champions were honored for their achievements, receiving their championship rings in a proud moment that recognized months of dedication and hard work.
The whole night ended up being memorable and successful, wrapping up the homecoming week festivities at Spartanburg High School.
