For the holiday issue of Norse News, I decided to stick to tradition and yet again create a Peppermint Bark themed treat. Peppermint Bark Fudge is a great treat for all peppermint and chocolate lovers. Peppermint bark fudge is made with an amalgam of ingredients including
sweetened condensed milk, semi-sweet chocolate chips, marshmallow crème, pure vanilla extract, peppermint extract, and candy canes. To begin you will need either an 8-inch or 9-inch square pan with either aluminum foil or parchment paper laid in it. For both the
chocolate and milk chocolate layer you will need semi-sweet chocolate or white chocolate, marshmallow crème, peppermint extract and vanilla extract. Peppermint Bark Fudge does not have an overbearing peppermint taste, it is the perfect mix of chocolate and peppermint. This recipe is easy to make and is great for any holiday get-together.

Ingredients:
• Sweetened condensed milk (14 oz. can)
• Semi-sweet chocolate chips and white chocolate chips
• Marshmallow Creme
• Vanilla/Peppermint Extract
• Crushed candy canes

Directions:
1. Line an 8-inch square pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper, to make the fudge easy to remove.
2. Melt 1/2 can of sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, and marshmallow creme in a small saucepan. Remove from heat and then stir in a few tablespoons of vanilla and peppermint extract. Place in the refrigerator.
3. Repeat above step, but instead use white chocolate chips. Stir in candy can pieces, then add on top of normal chocolate layer.
4. Add garnish and refrigerate
5. Cut into small squares.
