On the first edition of Spartanburg Study Spots, I will be reviewing Spill the Beans. Located Downtown, Spill the Beans provides a modern but cozy setting to work while also being surrounded by the businesses of Spartanburg. Suggested by its name, Spill the Beans is a coffee shop that serves everything from lattes to cold brews to iced coffee, providing the perfect boost of energy to get through a long study session.  Along with its assortment of drinks, Spill the Beans also serves ice cream, so you can enjoy a sweet treat while working on an essay. On top of that, Spill the Beans offers muffins, scones and bagels for customers to enjoy while they are hard at work.

There is a variety of seating in Spill the Beans, from one-person desks for solo studies to large tables for group studying. Spill the Beans also has a nice couch to either take a break from some hard homework or just relax and read a book. In front of the store is a large window that is open during the spring and summer, providing a nice breeze to its customers during the warm weather. There is outside seating where you can let the sunshine on your worksheet or just chat with some friends. The best thing about Spill the Beans is that it provides a great spot to be productive during the day, but an even better place to hang out with friends and enjoy a sweet treat at night.
